About The Cross C Ranch

The Cross C Ranch is owned by Dr Willard and Cindy Woods. We are located in the Laramie range, 30 miles West of Wheatland, Wyoming. Our Ranch is a 17,000 + acre privately owned and operated outfitting and cattle ranch. We have managed the ranch for trophy mule deer, white tail deer, elk, and antelope for 20 years.

From October through January the Cross C Ranch outfitters and guides provide guided trophy gun hunts. We are one of the oldest outfitters in Wyoming, giving us years of experience. The beautiful Laramie River and Bluegrass Creek offer pristine waters with large brown and rainbow trout providing excellent fishing opportunities.

Fishing is also available in stocked ponds and summer fishing accommodations are available at a modest rate. Trout fishing is free of charge for all big game hunters.

Excellent trophy mule deer abound on the ranch with a large local herd of elk on nearby Squaw and Moonshine Mountains. Our ranch offers the hunter a rare opportunity to hunt for multiple species with a near 100% success rate. Our big game hunts are limited to allow us to maximize a trophy opportunity for everyone.

A modern cabin with deluxe accommodations and first class home cooked meals are provided for all hunts. The hunting cabin sleeps 10 comfortably with two bathrooms, fireplace, walk-in cooler and other nice accommodations.

All hunts are fully guided. ATV’s and ranch jeeps are the main transportation. Our guides are professional, experienced and work hard to provide you with a first class big game hunting experience.

The Cross C Ranch is all privately owned and accessed. No public hunting allowed. We are ideal for groups, kids and seniors. Non hunting family or friends welcome for an additional fee per day.
